Something that will change the world of competition …

This is all about to change.

Sensors are getting to the point of being industrialised to commodity components that will capture and centrally store data through a “Sensor as a Service”. Future products, even physical commodities will contain multiple “Sensor as a Service” components. This provides the capability for ecosystem games like ILC to be played out in the physical world.

  • rapidly growing rates of innovation — it’s in fact the ecosystem that is doing the innovation for it.
  • rapidly growing rates of customer satisfaction — by using consumption data to pick successful changes in the ecosystem and then providing this as new components to everyone else
  • high rates of efficiency — simply economies of scale
  • high stability of revenue — through provision of industrialised components and reduced risk of experimentation (everyone else is taking the risk)
  • eventual grumbling — as other companies start to complain “they’ve eaten our business model again”
