This is all about to change.

  • rapidly growing rates of innovation — it’s in fact the ecosystem that is doing the innovation for it.
  • rapidly growing rates of customer satisfaction — by using consumption data to pick successful changes in the ecosystem and then providing this as new components to everyone else
  • high rates of efficiency — simply economies of scale
  • high stability of revenue — through provision of industrialised components and reduced risk of experimentation (everyone else is taking the risk)
  • eventual grumbling — as other companies start to complain “they’ve eaten our business model again”
